Marble Falls ISD is thrilled to announce several new leadership appointments for the 2025–2026 school year. These leaders—each deeply rooted in service, experience, and community—will help continue Marble Falls ISD’s mission to love every child and inspire them to achieve their fullest potential.
Cord Woerner Named Director of Special Programs
Cord Woerner, a 1983 graduate of Marble Falls High School and long-serving district leader, is returning to MFISD as Director of Special Programs. Most recently, he has served the City of Marble Falls as the Juvenile Case Manager for Municipal Court, where he continued to work closely with youth and families in the community. From coaching football and leading state-finalist baseball teams, to building the district’s first comprehensive safety protocols, Mr. Woerner’s impact is felt across generations of Mustangs. Those who know him say Cord is the first to show up and the last to ask for recognition. “Cord Woerner is one of the best men I know,” said Superintendent Dr. Jeff Gasaway. “He lives out our district’s vision every single day.”
Eric Humiston Promoted to Director of Maintenance
Eric Humiston joined MFISD in 2023 and quickly became a trusted part of the district’s operations team. With four decades of experience in maintenance and facilities—including time as a VP for a Fortune 500 real estate company—Eric brings deep knowledge and a hands-on leadership style. A proud resident of Spicewood, Eric and his wife Tracy (who also works for MFISD) enjoy life on their ranch raising Angus cattle. “Since coming to MFISD, I’ve been most impressed by the hard work and talent of our team,” Eric said. “It’s an honor to step into this role and keep building something great together.”
Tiffany Brantley Named Principal of Spicewood Elementary
A dedicated member of the Spicewood Elementary community, Mrs. Brantley has served as a 5th grade teacher, instructional coach, and assistant principal over the past several years.
Mrs. Brantley brings 24 years of educational experience to the role, including the last 13 years in Marble Falls ISD. Throughout her career, she has taught all subjects in grades 1 through 5 and led initiatives such as One Novel Everywhere, summer literacy nights, and family engagement events.
Mrs. Brantley is known for her deep commitment to loving and leading with her heart. She is passionate about creating a school environment where every child feels safe, supported, and inspired.
Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her husband, John, and their sons, Charlie (19) and Hudson (16). She also enjoys walking her neighborhood, reading up on sociology and brain science, coloring, and baking a mean sourdough bread.
Dr. Gasaway said, “These three leaders reflect the heart of Marble Falls ISD—passionate, driven, and
deeply committed to our students. We are proud to welcome them into their new roles.”
