Marble Falls High School Band and Color Guard score big at weekend competitions”
When football season ends and the half time performances are over, things are just getting started for The Marble Falls High School band and color guard. They quickly get to work on new routines and perfecting existing ones to prepare for fall and spring competitions. If you were able to see them perform at the Mustangs Halftime Show, it should come as no surprise of their success this past weekend.
On February 9th, Shannon Meyer the director of the Marble Falls Color Guard, led her team to Georgetown where they continued their competition season in the 2019 Texas Color Guard Circuit. The team proudly represented MFHS with their show “Starry Starry Moonlight”, earning a 3rd place win in their classification and bringing home 1st place ratings in both the equipment and movement categories. They are off to Cedar Park on February 23rd for their next contest and we hope to hear of big things from there as well.
