    Assistant Principal

I graduated from The University of Texas with an Early Childhood Education degree. My education career began in 1989 in Round Rock ISD where I taught 2nd grade. My husband changed careers taking us to Arlingon, TX in 1995. I continued my teaching career at St. Alban's Episcpal School where I taught 2nd, 4th, and 5th grade, and also served as a Curriculum Coordinator. While at St. Alban's, I obtained a master degree in Reading from Texas A&M - Commerce. In 2005, we decided it was time to move back to the Hill Country, and closer to our Austin home. We chose Marble Falls as our new home for our family. I joined the Marble Falls ISD family as a 4th grade teacher at Spicewood Elementary. In 2009, I joined the Highland Lakes Elementary family as an Assistant Principal after completing my master degree in Educational Leadersip at Texas Tech University.

My husband, Jeff, and I have three children. All three of our children are Marble Falls High School gaduates. Go Mustangs!

Hunter attends Texas State University in San Marcos with plans to major in Computer Science. Paige attended The University of Texas San Antonio, and graduated this year with a degree in Public Health. Paige has decided to continue her education, and will begin the application process for graduate school to become an occupational therapist. Robyn, our youngest, is heading back to The University of North Texas to continue her sophmore year.
