Degrees and Certifications:

Shannon Minton

The mission to love and inspire every student is exactly why I got into education, so I know Marble Falls is the right place for me.

I was previously in the Leander school district since 2001 (minus 2 years out of state). I taught 8th grade math and Pre-AP Algebra 1 at Running Brushy Middle School, taught Algebra 1, Geometry, and Pre-AP Geometry at Rouse High School, and most recently was an instructional coach at Cedar Park High School. When I was living in Oklahoma, I taught Geometry, Algebra 2, and Consumer Math at Savanna High School. As you can see, my passion has been to love and inspire secondary math students.

My husband (Tony) and I have 3 adult children - Kevin, Tiffany, and Joseph. My oldest two are married; my daughter is mom to an awesome little guy, Merrick. (The photo includes my daughter, my grandson, my husband, and me.)

I'm also the Advanced Placement (AP) Coordinator and will be working with students that are planning to take the AP exams in early May. I also support students with last names Q-Z.

My goal is to support your student's learning and high school experience in the best possible way. If you have any questions, please contact me at 830-693-4375 or
